In 2012, our organization provided
food for over 3,000 people each month. The number of people needing assistance is increasing significantly in these
current financial conditions. In 2013, the number of people needing food is well on its way to 3,500 each month. The
truth is that many, if not all, of us are only one event away from needing assistance ourselves.
In 2011 we changed the name of our organization from "The Malakoff Food Pantry" to "Faith In Action
Outreach" to better reflect our vision. We are a Christian Organization taking our lead from Jesus Christ and the
clear instruction He has given to us in the Bible. As the Bible says in James 2:26,
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also". We
are doing as Jesus commands by putting our faith in action to improve the quality of life for widows, orphans, senior citizens
and single moms while also providing a temporary hand up to anyone else in need. In addition to providing food, we are
expanding our services to include clothing, counseling, medicine co-pay, addiction recovery, Bible study and a Christian Worship
Service every Sunday morning. We continue to be amazed by God and the fulfillment of His promise in Malachi
3:10, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there might be food in My house, and try me in this", says
the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will
not be room enough to receive it."
All donations are
tax deductible and we will provide full disclosure of our financial statements to our contributors.
We are always looking for corporate, retail and individual sponsors.
